Justice Professor Willy Mutunga is the former Chief Justice & President of the Supreme Court, Kenya, 2011-2016. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Public Law at the Kabarak University Law School. He has served in the past as the President of the Law Society of Kenya (1993-5); a program officer and Regional Representative of the Ford Foundation in its East African Office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Since the 1970s he has been in many radical movements that have sought to birth social transformation in Kenya, East Africa, Africa, and globally.
